Static IP addresses

OpenBand offers static IP addresses, allowing you to bypass the community firewall. To order a static IP address login to your OpenBand Online Customer Care Account and select the Order New Service link on the left side of your Orders page.

Network Interface Cards (NIC)

Smart Neighborhood residents have access to the fastest residential Internet connection in the area. Access is distributed throughout the home over the standard home data network. Any computer, laptop or networkable device will require a Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) to utilize Smart Neighborhood services.
